Application fields
Zinc sulfate has a wide range of applications in many fields:
1.Agriculture: As a trace element fertilizer, it provides zinc elements required by plants, promotes plant growth, increases yield and improves quality. Zinc is an essential trace element in the growth process of plants. It participates in the photosynthesis, enzyme activity and nutrient absorption of plants. Zinc sulfate can be applied by soil application and foliar spraying.
2.Animal husbandry: As a feed additive, it supplements the zinc elements required by poultry and livestock to maintain animal growth and development and immune function.
3.Industry: It is used to prepare pigments such as lithopone, zinc barium white and other zinc compounds, as well as an important material for artificial fibers, electrolyte for electrolytic production of metallic zinc, mordant in the textile industry, etc. In the electroplating and electrolysis industries, zinc sulfate is also used to prepare zinc coatings with high corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
4.Others: used as preservative for wood and leather, bleaching agent for paper making, etc.
